Steve Bishop: PRO customer. Accelerated playback at 2X speed isn’t really going at 2X. I timed it. It’s more like 1.7X. Also, accelerated playback does not work with Bluetooth. Background play also loses your place when you pause and close the app, and then resume later. Please fix. Love the other features. What about accelerated playback on Bluetooth audio? Is that supposed to work? It only goes at normal (1X) speed over Bluetooth no matter how fast the speed setting.
Jim Lassiter: I’ve been using it for about a year on my Kindle Fire. My nitpics are: 1. I put favorite vids in separate folders by artist. There isn’t continuous play (that i can find) between videos within the same folded. A vid plays then stops when done, then i have to manually select the next one in the folder, etc. 2. Access to EQ (and bass boost & virtualizer) should be 1 click away, take up less screen space and not cause the video to stop playing. It’s hard to EQ vid audio if there’s no audio to hear.

chaos: Although I haven’t familiarized myself with the more intricate details, such as, disabling the Volume and Brightness functions on the touchscreen, I do believe that XPlayer is going to produce more downloads/users than the VLC media player app, bar none.
